Kyle Garland 2nd Place Men's Heptathlon - NCAA D1 Indoor Championships 2022

Georgia sophomore Kyle Garland placed second in the men's heptathlon with 6,200 points at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. Garland held the advantage entering the final event, but Ayden Owens of Arkansas ran 2:31.55 in the 1,000 meters to prevail against the Georgia standout, who clocked 2:46.07, earning the overall title. It marked the second year in a row Garland placed second, finishing behind former teammate Karel Tilga last year in Arkansas. More videos |
