Two Victories, a Team Title, and a RingPublished by Runners World March 16, 2015 After Dominique Scott led her University of Arkansas Razorbacks to the indoor national championship, she was ecstatic. Then her boyfriend dropped to one knee. Dominique Scott, a senior at the University of Arkansas, had one of the best running weekends possible. On Friday night, she anchored her distance medley relay to an indoor national title. After getting the baton in second place for her 1600-meter leg, she took over the lead with three laps to go and ran a 4:28.90 split, giving Arkansas a nearly two-second victory over Stanford and 10 points toward team scoring. On Saturday, Scott won the 3000 meters decisively in 8:55.19. Ten more points for Arkansas, which put the Razorbacks ahead in the team competition for good. It was the first-ever national indoor championship for her coach, Lance Harter.
