Georgia freshman Tara Davis set the World U20 record in the women's 60-meter hurdles by clocking 7.98 seconds to win her prelim heat at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas. Davis broke the record of 8.00 set last year by Klaudia Siciarz of Poland. Davis also finished third in the long jump with a sixth-round leap of 21-4 (6.50m), completing the first long jump sweep of the top three spots in NCAA history with teammates Kate Hall and Keturah Orji.
