Centro gets a second chance; he is added to the final in the mile

Oregon's Matt Centrowitz was added to the final of the men's mile at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday.

At first Centrowitz was not included in the 10-man field for the final after finishing his preliminary heat in 4:04.720, the 11th best overall time.

The 10th place finisher was David McCarthy of Providence, who finished in 4:04.713.
