Kendell Williams of Georgia Reflects on 4 Pentathlon Titles - NCAA D1 Indoor Championships 2017

Georgia senior Kendell Williams became the first female athlete in NCAA Division 1 history to win four consecutive indoor titles in any event by scoring 4,682 points in the pentathlon at Rhonda and Frosty Gilliam Jr. Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas. Williams, who set the collegiate record last year with 4,703 points, boasts the top five scores in NCAA history. She joins UTEP miler Suleiman Nyambui (1979-82) and SMU shot put star Michael Carter (1980-81 and 1983-84) as the only athletes to win four NCAA Division 1 indoor championships in one event.
